Six jobs a video editor used to do, now done before you open the file

Here is what Snipply does with a long recording, one part at a time. Each part shows the screen you will actually use, and what it means for your week. Your original file stays untouched throughout, and nothing is posted until you approve it.

The working parts

From a 58-minute file to something you can post on Thursday

Read them in order, or jump to the one you are worried about. They all work on the same recording, so nothing has to be uploaded twice.

Highlights, scored and ready to pick

Snipply listens to the whole recording and marks the moments where someone gives a clear answer, a good line or a number that lands. Each gets a score from 0 to 100, a start time and a length. You tick the ones you want and press one button.

Where it fitsMonday morning, after Friday’s webinar. Open the list, tick four, and the cutting is done by the time your coffee is.

A transcript you fix by typing over it

Every word is written out and lined up with the audio. If a guest’s name is spelled wrong, correct it once and every caption that uses it changes too. Select a sentence and turn it into a clip without leaving the page.

Where it fitsRight after the highlights list. Skim for names and product terms, fix them, and the captions are right before you export.

Audiograms and quote cards for audio-only shows

A podcast with no video still gets something to watch. Turn thirty seconds of audio into a moving waveform, or lift one sentence into a quote card. Choose Waveform, Bars or Circle, and your colors and logo come from the brand kit.

Where it fitsThe day an episode goes live. Make one audiogram and three quote cards, and the launch week is already planned.

What stays yours

Snipply suggests. You decide what is cut, and what is posted.

Every clip waits for your tick, and every post waits for your approval. Pull anything from the queue before it goes out.

Shaping and sending

One clip, the right shape, on the right day

Three shapes from one clip

Choose vertical 9:16, square 1:1 or widescreen 16:9. Snipply re-frames the clip and keeps the speaker, or the part of the screen that matters, in view. You can nudge the frame by hand if it guessed wrong.

Where it fitsWhen the same moment has to go to a short-video app, a feed and a website. Tick three boxes instead of exporting three times.

A queue that posts for you

Line clips up across the week and pick a channel for each. Snipply posts at the time you set, and the queue always shows what goes out next. Anything marked Approve waits for a person to say yes.

Where it fitsPlanning day. Fill Thursday to Monday in ten minutes, then get on with the rest of your work.

A written summary for people who won’t press play

Each recording also gets a short written summary with the key points and a list of topics. Paste it into a newsletter, a blog post or the notes under the video. Edit it like any other text.

Where it fitsThe follow-up email after a webinar. The summary is already written, so you only add the greeting.

Keeping it tidy

A library that remembers where everything came from

Every clip stays linked to its source file and the second it began. Open a clip next month and you can see exactly which recording it came from, and cut it again if you want a longer one.

Security and reliability

What happens to your file, in plain words

Recordings can hold unreleased numbers and private calls. Here is how Snipply treats them.

Your original is never changed

Snipply reads your file and works on copies. The recording you uploaded is the recording you can download.

Files
Nothing posts without a yes

Scheduled posts go out at the time you chose. Approval flows on the Network plan hold a post until a teammate signs it off.

Publishing
Encrypted when stored and sent

Uploads travel over an encrypted connection and are stored encrypted. Only people in your workspace can open them.

Storage
You can delete it

Remove a recording and its clips, transcript and summary from the library whenever you like.

Control
Renders pick up where they stopped

If a render is interrupted, it restarts from the last finished clip. The queue shows its status the whole time.
