Podcast hosts
Every episode becomes audiograms and quote cards, even when there is no video at all.
About Snipply
Built so a long recording never feels like a chore
Snipply cuts webinars, screen recordings and podcast episodes into clips, audiograms, quote cards and summaries. It was made for people who have good material and no spare Friday.
Snipply suggests, you decide. Your original file is never touched.
The problem
The best answer in the whole webinar is at minute 41. Almost no one will ever watch that far.
Most teams already record the useful thing: the monthly webinar, the product walkthrough, the weekly episode. Then the recording sits in a folder, because turning it into posts means a video editor, an afternoon and a fair amount of dread.
Snipply was built for that gap. It finds the moments worth sharing, writes out every word, and shapes each piece for the place it will be posted. The slow, fiddly part is done before you sit down.
It was not built to replace your judgement. Every clip is a suggestion until you keep it, and nothing is published until you approve it.
Principles
When we are unsure whether to build something, we hold it up against these.
Snipply works on copies. The file you upload is the file you can download later, byte for byte, whatever you did with the clips.
The software proposes highlights, captions and posting times. You approve each one. Nothing goes out on its own, and a scheduled post can be pulled right up to the moment it publishes.
Plans are paid once a year and the price on the card is the whole price. Buttons say what they do, and the settings use words you already know.
Correct a guest’s name in the transcript and every caption that uses it changes too. Set your colors once and every export picks them up.
How it is built and looked after
Recordings are often the unfinished, honest version of a business. We treat them that way.
Files are used to make your clips and nothing else. Delete a recording and its clips, transcripts and cards go with it.
Zoom, Dropbox and your posting channels are linked with limited access. Disconnect any of them and Snipply stops, right away.
Questions go to contact@snipplyhouse.com and are read by the people who maintain the product, so answers come from someone who knows how it works.
When something changes in how clips are found or posted, we say so in plain words before you meet it in your workspace.
Who it is for
Every episode becomes audiograms and quote cards, even when there is no video at all.
One person can keep five channels fed from the webinar the team already ran, and a second person can approve before anything posts.
Turn a screen recording into a short walkthrough clip and a written summary people can search.
The smallest plan covers ten recordings a month.
Where it is going
We would rather improve what Snipply already does than pile on options. This is the direction, not a promise of dates.
Finding moments that sound complete on their own, with clean starts and endings instead of mid-sentence cuts.
Accurate transcripts and captions for more of the languages your guests actually speak.
Comments on a clip, a clear record of who approved what, and a quieter inbox for reviewers.
